Mount Olive recently celebrated the final payment
on property improvements completed in 1995, making our church
building fully handicapped accessible.
At the Feast of Pentecost, 2005, following the benediction,
congregational treasurer John Crippen ceremoniously burned
a copy of the building expansion mortgage papers by lighting
them in the flame of the pascal candle, and allowing
them to burn in the incense bowl.
