We are Easter people who live in the promise of life with God now and in the life to come after we die. Our joy and duty as a community of faith is to carry before almighty God our loved ones who have died and then bear them to their rest.

Columbarium
We celebrate the Eucharist, are sprinkled with water as a sign of our baptism and of the baptism of our beloved dead, and rejoice in Christ’s promise of eternal life to all who believe.

Mount Olive has a columbarium, a place of burial for the ashes of our beloved departed ones. Mount Olive’s columbarium is located in the church’s north transept.
Like churchyards of old, this resting place of the saints is part of our daily life here. As we worship each week, those whom we love and who rest here are alongside us, even as all the saints eat at the eternal Table of Christ, joining us when we eat at Christ’s Table here.
